Clear Mind Privacy Policy
This is the same text you review and accept in the Clear Mind app.
Version 1.1 · Effective September 16, 2026 · Clear Intelligence, LLC
1. Who we are
Clear Mind is made by Clear Intelligence, LLC, 1116 Langley Circle, Naperville, IL 60563. This policy explains what information Clear Mind collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — in plain language.
2. What this covers
This policy covers the personal and health-related information Clear Mind handles, including what privacy laws call "consumer health data." Clear Intelligence is not a doctor, hospital, or health plan, so laws like HIPAA that apply to those providers do not apply here — this policy is our commitment to you instead.
It also covers what you send us through the forms on our website, clear-mind.io.
3. What we collect
Your account: your name and email address.
Wellness data you choose to share by granting permissions: your sleep and step data from Apple Health, and the categories of places you visit (like "park" or "gym" — not a map of your movements).
Information you enter in the app: mood check-ins, medications and the reminder times you set, personal details you add to your profile (like conditions and goals), and contacts you choose to add.
Your conversations with the AI assistant.
Device basics: your device identifier, platform, time zone, and a push notification token if you enable reminders.
If you use a form on our website — to apply for the beta, join the Android waitlist, or offer to help as an advisor: your email address, the platform or role you choose, and any name or note you add.
When you send a website form, your IP address is used briefly to stop the forms being abused. We keep only a scrambled version that cannot be turned back into the address, and delete it within two hours.
4. How we use it
To show you your own charts, trends, and wellness score.
To create your AI summaries and power your conversations with the assistant.
To send medication reminders at the times you set.
To reply to you about a website form you sent us, and to keep those forms from being abused.
That is the whole list — we do not use your data for anything else.
5. AI processing
Your conversations and summaries are processed by artificial-intelligence services from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that run on our behalf. Your data is used to answer you — not to train public AI models.
6. What we never do
We never sell your data. We never show you ads. We never share your data with anyone for marketing.
7. Who we share with
Service providers that run the app for us — specifically Amazon Web Services, which hosts our servers, database, and AI processing under contractual protections.
Google, which provides our email. Our replies to you, and our notices that a website form has arrived, pass through Gmail.
Apple, which automatically collects crash logs and usage data from TestFlight beta apps under Apple's own terms.
Authorities, only if the law requires it.
8. Your consent
We collect your health data only with your opt-in consent: you grant each device permission (Health, Location, Notifications) yourself, and you accept this policy before any collection begins.
You can withdraw consent at any time by turning permissions off in the app or in your device Settings, or by deleting your account.
9. How we protect it
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to run the service.
10. How long we keep it
AI conversations are automatically deleted after 30 days.
The rolling profile the assistant keeps about your conversations is automatically deleted after 180 days of inactivity.
Website form submissions are automatically deleted 365 days after you last sent one.
Your account and wellness data are kept until you delete them or your account.
11. Your rights
You can see and edit your information in the app, control collection through the permissions page, and delete your data.
To exercise any right, including full deletion, contact us using the details below — we will respond within 45 days.
12. Teens 13 to 17
Clear Mind is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Testers aged 13 to 17 may only use Clear Mind with a parent or guardian who has reviewed and agreed to this policy with them. If we learn we have data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, the app will show you the new version and ask you to accept it before collection continues.
